In 2026, CLESCRANE once again successfully completed the delivery of an overhead crane solution for the GIS room of a large-scale solar power project in Saudi Arabia. The equipment has been successfully installed and commissioned on site and has been officially put into operation.
The project is located at a large-scale photovoltaic power generation project site in Saudi Arabia. CLESCRANE provided the customer with 2 overhead cranes (CHD 5t–8.61m–7m Class D), a fixed ladder for the plant, and a complete track system. The equipment is mainly used for the assembly, installation, and subsequent maintenance of GIS (Gas Insulated Switchgear) equipment.
In response to the strict requirements of GIS equipment for lifting precision, safety, and long-term reliability, CLESCRANE strictly followed CMAA standards during the design and manufacturing process, while the electric hoist system complies with NEMA standards. Through reliable structural design and quality control, the equipment is ensured to operate stably in long-term industrial environments.
Leveraging its accumulated project experience in Saudi Arabia’s new energy sector, CLESCRANE optimized the technical solution according to the customer’s application requirements, achieving an effective match between the equipment configuration and site operating conditions and providing the customer with a safe, efficient, and reliable lifting solution.
The project progressed as planned from solution design and equipment manufacturing to on-site installation and commissioning. After being put into operation, the equipment has been running stably, meeting the lifting requirements during GIS equipment installation and maintenance and providing reliable support for the long-term operation of the customer’s project.
