In February 2023, Iraq Engineering Company ordered a single girder overhead crane 8 ton (CHS8T-17.25M H=10.648 A4/M5) from CLESCRANE for use in a pipeline pumping station.
Considering the presence of a pit at the site, where operators working at the edge might face the risk of falling, the crane is equipped with a gravity-sensing remote control. This remote can detect falling situations in real-time and issue a stop signal to prevent secondary injuries. Additionally, the crane is equipped with a second hoisting limit switch to prevent the equipment from exceeding safety limits, thus ensuring operational safety. Meanwhile, it features a trolley travel limit device to ensure the trolley operates within a specific range, avoiding risks associated with over-travel operations.
CLESCRANE's cranes and hoists equipment are designed with a plug-and-use feature, eliminating the need for on-site debugging. The electrical cabinets and drives use heavy-duty connectors, and the equipment undergoes power-on testing before shipment, and is equipped with a main power box. The entire installation and electrical wiring of the crane can be easily completed according to the installation manual provided with the equipment, offering an excellent operational experience. The installation of this 8-ton single-girder overhead crane was independently completed by Iraq Engineering Company.
